About John

As a playwright, scriptwriter, and self-published novelist, I endeavour to reach various audiences through creative writing. My comedic radio play "On The Dotted Line" featuring my character Chuck Spunt was aired on BBC Radio Essex and well received with a follow up headline interview for the radio. I like all genres, but concentrate mainly on short comedy and dark humour. I have a keen interest in Jack the Ripper and my feature screenplay, "The Falcon, The Surgeon & The Lady Bird" concentrates upon the motives used by those possibly involved in the gruesome murders. I like to challenge the status quo, and push the boundaries wherever possible, so I believe my feature screenplay adaptation of "A Child of the Jago." really achieves that. I've nurtured my craft by attending courses at RADA, and devising theatre at the Studio Theatre London. My love of screenplay is self-taught, but my ideas are completely genuine.
