SYNOPSIS:

Joshua, a desperate and disillusioned Londoner, and Dahlia a young Israeli kibbutzik experience a brief, yet intense romance in an Israeli kibbutz. Their ideal, disrupted when the kibbutz is attacked by militants, leading to an evacuation of volunteers. Defying orders, Joshua stays and boards a coach to Eilat, but is soon caught up in a hijacking and held captive inside a tunnel in the Gaza Strip. During a rescue attempt, Joshua's perilous situation ends with a rocket attack upon a hospital, above the tunnel where he becomes badly injured, and where his Irish travel buddy Jerry is killed. Dahlia, hearing of his supposed death is heartbroken, until he returns to ask for her hand in marriage. Joshua's new life begins when he joins the IDF to fight alongside Dahlia in the war for control of the holy land.
