THE BLACK SEA OF ROSES SHORT HORROR MOVIE BASED ON THE BLACK SEA OF ROSES SUPERNATURAL HORROR NOVEL WRITTEN BY VANESSA M. CHATTMAN The forest is dark, haunting and ghastly. A couple wondering through a hidden passageway found an abandoned cabin covered in leaves and vines. The cabin has history of belonging to family filled with darkness in their hearts, and the cabin is a historical landmark, but it has paranormal activity which describes the black sea of roses. When a couple, Mark and Melinda, stumble upon an abandoned cabin in a haunted forest, they uncover a dark family legacy that awakens vengeful spirits, leading to a terrifying confrontation with the past. As Mark was cleaning the kitchen, he noticed a glowing image on the trail from glancing out of the kitchen window. Mark placed his face closer to the window in the cabin to get a closer look at the shining, glistening image. Then it suddenly disappeared.

CHATTMAN In a haunted antique shop nestled in upstate New York, three friends—Tom, Mark, and Melinda—uncover cursed relics tied to Civil War-era spirits. As demonic paintings and possessed dolls awaken, they're survival is important while they unravel the shop’s dark legacy before becoming part of its ghostly collection. The antique shop is a historical landmark discovered by Tom, Mark and Melinda in the small town of Greenville Valley in upstate New York tormented by demonic historical paintings, possessed porcelain dolls, and wicked ancient artifacts. The Whitfield's owned the antique shop in the early 1800's and lived in The Shadow Heart Castle Mansion estate which was built on desolate American civil war battle grounds located in upstate New York with dimensions of American civil war soldier's apparitions, their ownership of the antique shop lasted until the late 1950's and supernatural events continued to haunt the newly restored two-story brick building. The old couple's bodies were never found, and the antique shop was abandoned for many years.

She deployed to Desert Storm in 1990 and attended Vincennes University In 1993.She worked for the Department of Defense and Child Care Services from 1995 to 1998. In November 1997, she was accepted into the International Poetry Hall of Fame. Her membership with The Writer’s Digest Book Club has been active since 1997. Her poems have been published in three different anthologies. The poem “My House” has been published in “The Poetic Voices of America Anthology.” The second poem titled “The Celebration” has been published in the “Beginnings” anthology. She has been an active member of the Unites States Army Reserves for 10 years from 2008 to 2018. and has an associate’s degree in applied science. Her modeling experience started with the opportunity to attend The John Casablancas Modeling school in 2018, and years later she had the opportunity to have her first photo shoot with Studio-1 in 2023. She received a certificate from The Writers Guild of America, West Inc. for The Black Sea of Roses Screenplay in 2020. Her Film Freeway membership from 2020 to 2024 included receiving 12 best horror screenplay awards, 5 screenplay award trophies and a best horror screenplay award from Luminary Independent Film Fiesta in 2024.
