Unbelievable yes, but teaching kids about race doesn't need to be divisive. Instead, we should encourage them to embrace our differences and recognize that we’re all human. Just like I've taught my Elementary School students time and time again, "We're all the same."

Rich discusses the landmark decision that recognized the First Amendment rights of an elementary school student in California...it's time we teach our kids that ANY life matters. Rich also gives a shout-out to best selling author, Laurie Fabiano, as he discusses his discrimination experiences as a Sicilian American growing up in the 60's and 70's.
