Avengers - Rescore exercise (trying something different)

This is not what I usually do, but I wanted to try something different. Rather than trying to match every cut and action beat in this Avengers scene, I wanted to test an original heroic cue that will be released on 7 August. The goal was to see how the music stands on its own while still supporting the picture, instead of being driven entirely by the edit. One thing I'm particularly interested in is whether the melodies communicate that heroic feeling. Personally, I feel the French horns help give the cue its sense of strength and optimism, but I'd love to know what you hear. If you have a few minutes, I'd really appreciate your feedback: Do the melodies feel memorable? Does the music genuinely sound heroic? Which moments work best, and where could it be stronger? Thanks in advance! I'm always grateful for the honest feedback from this community—it helps me grow as a composer.

The Bernoulli Principle: Melissa's Taco Run

This is one minute of all out mayhem at the wheel of a Porsche 911, also called "The Widow Maker." Melissa, one of the main characters of the script I've just completed, has a mad craving for tacos. The Porsche is stolen, by the way.

**BEYOND BORDERS: BETRAYAL AND INJUSTICE** **A Powerful True-Inspired Story of Courage, Survival, and the Fight for Justice** **Seeking Producer / Investor / Film Partner** *Beyond Borders: Betrayal and Injustice* is a powerful dramatic story about one person's journey through betrayal, injustice, and the struggle to reclaim dignity against overwhelming challenges. This is not only a story about personal hardship — it is a universal human story about truth, resilience, and the courage to stand against systems that appear impossible to challenge. The film explores the emotional and psychological journey of a person who faces deep betrayal, unfair treatment, and difficult battles while refusing to surrender hope. Through determination and perseverance, the story reveals the strength of the human spirit and the importance of justice, integrity, and self-belief. With themes that connect across cultures and borders, *Beyond Borders* has the potential to become an impactful international drama that speaks to millions of people who have experienced injustice, discrimination, or the struggle to make their voices heard. **Why this story has cinematic potential:** * A compelling emotional journey with strong character development. * Universal themes of justice, betrayal, courage, and survival. * International appeal with relevance across different societies. * Potential for a powerful feature film adaptation with meaningful social impact. I am seeking an experienced **film producer, investor, or production partner** who recognizes the value of bringing important human stories to the screen. This is an opportunity to transform a powerful written work into a memorable cinematic experience — a film that inspires conversation, challenges perspectives, and reminds audiences that the search for truth and justice has no borders. **Project Status:** Original book completed and available for adaptation. **Genre:** Drama / Biography / Social Impact / Inspirational **Seeking:** Producer, Investor, Production Company, Film Partner

Mission: Impossible (1996) Rescore

Here's a look at the finished cue inside Cubase before it's married to picture. This project was a great exercise in thematic writing, orchestration, and hitting the dramatic beats of the scene while finding a musical identity of its own. Rescoring films is always a reminder that every cue is a balance between supporting the story and giving it a fresh perspective. I'd love to hear your thoughts! Created for educational and portfolio purposes only.

Mission: Impossible (1996) Rescore – Final Version

After sharing the behind-the-scenes process yesterday, I've now finished my rescore of this Mission: Impossible (1996) scene. I made several changes to improve the overall flow and dramatic impact. Some of the updates include refining the thematic material, adjusting the orchestration, improving the pacing around key hit points, and polishing the mix to better support the action on screen. One thing this project reinforced is just how challenging it is to rescore a film with such a strong musical identity. Lalo Schifrin's iconic theme is deeply associated with the franchise, so the goal wasn't to recreate or compete with it, but to explore a different musical perspective while still serving the scene. Rescoring continues to be one of my favorite ways to study film music. It pushes me to think about storytelling, timing, emotion, and how music can completely reshape the audience's experience of a scene. I'd love to hear your thoughts. What worked well? Is there anything you would have approached differently? Mission: Impossible is owned by its respective copyright holders.
