I need some advice. I like the stuff I write, others seem to like it, too, and I don't think they're just blowing smoke, but I can't seem to get any action on them. Nobody wants to throw down the green. Any ideas?

It just takes meeting that one right person, Wade Cox. Have you thought about going to one of Stage 32's in-person Meetups (www.stage32.com/meetups)? They're great for networking. If you don't see a Meetup in your area, you could start your own.

Lauren Hackney that's the great thing - execs have very different mandates. While genre projects are always in demand (horror, thriller), mandates are always cyclical. Right now, a lot of execs want a good romcom, action-comedy or psychological thriller. But it changes all the time.
