Hi, I’m Yaşar Taşbaş — a screenwriter from Turkey with a background in industrial engineering.

I’ve always been drawn to stories that reflect deeper truths, social tensions, and human resilience. After years working in analytical and systems-oriented roles, I began writing to combine my passion for structure with storytelling.

I focus on concept-driven feature films, often exploring environmental collapse, corporate manipulation, and psychological trauma. My recent works include “Blackout Protocol,” a near-future sci-fi drama about climate engineering and power games, and “TREE,” a psychological horror rooted in folklore and memory.

My goal is to tell emotionally grounded, socially resonant stories that challenge, disturb, and stay with the audience. I’m here to connect with fellow creatives, producers, and collaborators who share a vision for bold and thought-provoking storytelling.
