Hey Stage 32 Community,
Our team just crossed a major milestone: we officially locked the final cut of our independent feature film! This project started as an award-winning student short film, and thanks to an incredible crew, we expanded it into a full-length feature.
Now, we are entering the festival circuit, and we are aiming high. Our strategy targets 4 major festivals this year: Sundance, Cannes, TIFF, and Tribeca.
To save precious capital for the later entries, we need to secure the Sundance early-bird submission discount before the July 27 deadline. We are exactly $1,920 short of our overall budget to cover all four entry packages.
The Premiere Catch: Because top-tier festivals have strict rules regarding premiere eligibility and proprietary screeners, we cannot share any footage or trailers from the newly completed feature without risking disqualification.
Instead, we have pinned our original student short film to our crowdfunding profile. It stands as our exact proof of concept so you can see the foundational tone, writing, and style that built this feature film.
If you have ever fought to get an indie film off the ground, you know how critical these submission windows are. Any donation, share, or word of mouth means the world to our team.
