It is with great honour and humility that I announce that Anthony Phills and I won the GOLD MEDAL at the 46th Annual Telly Awards in the category of General-History (Immersive piece used to inform viewers about historically important/interesting events and people). This is for our Immersive AR (Augmented Reality) mobile application – Unbreakable: Documenting Black History Through AR. Now in its 46th year, The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens with winners representing the work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world. Every year they receive 13,000+ entries globally. Anthony is the Creator/Designer and I am its Sound Designer. THESE TWO TRINIS are on a roll!! The creation won Bronze and Silver in other prestigious International Awards and was in an exhibition in Germany but THIS ONE is by far our biggest claim yet!! This was truly a gift (and a few days after my birthday too). I would like to thank God for this Award and thank Anthony Phills for involving me in the creation of this AR mobile App and all the work we have put in for the past few years creating innovative products. We will be working to expand the app’s capabilities in the future.
