The Stage 32 Videos: Performance

I'm posting a short clip from the Christmas musical in 2023 as this time of year is when planning starts for the next Christmas presentation and rehearsals will start in short order. I finally watched myself in this last year's presentation (part of it) and as I'm never excited to watch myself, or HEAR myself, I sat on this one for quite a while, but here it is.

Thank you @SPOKENAwards! English subtitles available in the CC for the Dutch poem. Happy to perform spoken word poetry again, and this was also the first time I performed somewhere solo instead of it being part of a theatre performance or poetry book.

The monologue is from the play PRODUCERS which was also adapted into a 1967 movie starring Gene Wilder. I have been told never to do a popular monologue as people compare performances with the original but to me, it's just another monologue and I had fun. I'd love to know what you guys have to say about it. :) BTW it's my 11th day of self-isolation and it's turning out to be great fun.

#Fbf 10yrs ago On Stage doing Short Tap dance piece at one of the last performances we did at our college - for its new 6th form building opening show. We co-choreographed this together (literally my main dance partner throughout 2yrs of college) was originally suppose to go with @missymisdemeanorelliott #GetYourFreakOn hence the "shh" part.
