The Stage 32 Videos: Experimental

The Weight of Dust is an abstract, silent short film born out of the need to visually express what words cannot say: the transition from a pristine past to a contaminated present. This short film was produced and directed by myself and my brother, director Matteo Telleschi; it began as a sort of thesis my brother wanted to present for his final high school exam. It became something else, it transformed into something of ours... we'll leave the reflections to you. It's a very current topic, very pressing in our society (it was years ago, and it is now, more than ever) and, frighteningly, underestimated by many. Thank you so much.

Two emotions fight to co-exist. ABOUT "SECUENCIAS": In an abstract space, two opposing emotions coexist without words. Through music, they manage to reach one another: one collapses into tears, and the other-upon recognizing that pain-draws close to embrace her. The embrace is both literal and symbolic: they reconcile, they merge.

"Beyond the Autumn" «Persian: پس از خزان» is a poetic meditation on the collapse that humanity calls "the end." Here, autumn is not a season of falling leaves, but a threshold where existence sheds its veil within the shadows. Beyond this descent, perhaps only a light of serenity remains. It whispers that following the world's silence, a subtler form of consciousness may emerge. "At the farthest edge of the soil, eyes open that no longer belong to the ground." • "Shot entirely on a smartphone, the initial period of darkness is a deliberate auditory phase leading into the visual transition."

Age-old public transport ferries travel to and from Sydney Cove. Gigantic cruise ships that once docked at the Sydney Cove Overseas Passenger Terminal are conspicuous by their absence. The Australian Aboriginal Gadigal People of the Eora Nation occupied Sydney Cove for tens of thousands of years before those aboard the first British fleet of 1788 chose it as the site for establishing a penal colony.
