About Tyler

Tyler Schultz is an Award Winning Screenwriter from Wisconsin who has placed high within the prestigious competitions such as Scriptapalooza, Coverfly's Short List, and Barnstorm Short List to name a few.

Over the years, Tyler has garnered numerous accolades from multiple competitions for his stories that delve into the darkness of humanity while bringing to light voices that are otherwise overshadowed with grief and ignorance. His passion is not only to tell challenging stories, but creating characters people would normally glance over as background noise, and making them the center of attention.

With a troubled upbringing and being at the mercy of two parents battling for custody, Tyler found solace in movies. Writing his first screenplay in high-school and finding the ability to incorporate life problems with fantasy elements; it made a recipe for success once he started writing short stories and having them published through the College of Central Florida's magazine: The Write Mind.
