About Michelle

I am a Canadian writer and film maker. I've been writing my own stories since I could hold a pen. I earned my first certificate in creative writing while still in high school. I went on to study screenwriting for film & television at RMIT university and graduated with the Dean’s award. I got my first taste of film working as a story liner in the writers room on the long running Australian series “Neighbours.” I'm a firm believer that the best stories are simple and character driven. I have spent the last 5 years working in the art department on television films, series, and features, honing my skills as a collaborator. Being at the table in meetings has given me a keen understanding of what it takes to bring a story to life. I'm excited to create content that is heartfelt and logistically achievable.
