Shannon has two weeks to convince a Brazilian maple syrup farmer to sell his family legacy by Thanksgiving, or lose her job. When their kids become best friends, this corporate takeover becomes one sticky situation.

SYNOPSIS:

Shannon Talkkari, once a shining star for Giant Tree Maple Syrup Corporation is a widow and single step parent on the brink of losing it all. Her boss gives her a career ultimatum just as her 8-year-old stepson is suspended from school. Shannon looks and feels like a complete failure as she and Jeremiah are sent to secure the acquisition of the Martinez maple syrup farm.

Shannon and Jeremiah struggle to adapt to a slower tech free way of life in. Lucas Martinez and his charming daughter Ainsley introduce their maple farm and instantly bond with our hero couple, inviting them into their home and ultimately their lives.

Hijinx ensue due to a case of mistaken identity, and hidden agendas; leaving Shannon and Lucas on opposite sides when the truth is revealed. At a desperate stalemate, Shannon negotiates a proposal that will save her job and enable Lucas to keep the doors to his farm open.

Giant Tree double crosses Shannon resulting in her being fired, Lucas being betrayed, and Jeremiah and Ainsley running away into the night. All seems lost when the Thanksgiving festival is a bust, and separated by circumstance, our Heroes have no way to turn it around. Meanwhile, the kids use social media to start a campaign to save the farm.

Ainsley’s desperate plea goes viral which ultimately saves the farm and unites their blended family.
