At twenty-five, co-founded the Gold Coast Theater Group in Los Angeles. Produced and directed productions of Michael Cristofer’s The Shadow Box, and Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge.
First writing job, ghostwriting Woman Inside, tackling the provocative story of a Vietnam veteran's gender transition. Produced works include Profile for Murder (starring Lance Henriksen and Joan Severance) and Brothers in Arms (with Todd Allen and Dedee Pfeiffer). Also worked “week to week” contracts on many diverse film scripts, expanding rewrite and story refinement skills.
