This past week I finished reading "The Instrumentalist" by Harriet Constable.
It's fantastic, and I highly recommend it. It's the best novel I've read in years!
It's based on the true story of an orphan girl (child of a teenage prostitute left at an orphanage) who became a master violinist in the 1700s.
SUPER recommend this!
