I just finished the audiobook. Highly recommend. Then I watched the movie yesterday. 5 out of 5 space ships for both.

Hello Suzanne Bronson, I caught the movie two weeks ago. Nice special FX, interesting concept and story. The ending was different, my thoughts were, where did the oxegen and food come from for him to survive with rock people on a strange planet?
I didn't find the ending to be different from the book. He ends up in the same place. I did have thoughts about some of the things that were left, out a lot of the exposition like explaining how Rocky was able to create oxygen for Grace, but I then I had to remind myself, some things don'e film well. The movie is already 2 1/2 hours, and some of the things would have been difficult and probably boring to explain. I recommend listening to the audiobook if you want those things explained.
