Before the Morning Shift
Before the Morning Shift follows two friends over the course of a single night in New York City, sharing conversations, humor, and quiet moments before the routine of work returns. As they move through the city, their exchanges reveal a sense of connection shaped by time, place, and the awareness that morning is approaching.
Constructed from over one hundred short-form fragments, the film uses fragmentation as a narrative tool, assembling fleeting moments into a continuous and intimate story.
While the film is built from generated visual material, the performances, editing, and narrative structure are entirely shaped by the filmmakers.
