Director It takes a lot of sweat and blood, patience, pain, labor and a complete metamorphosis to transform black soft natural mud into red hard synthesized brick. Brick- the foundation of almost all man-made structures and a silent onlooker of human race, history and society. Neev - follows this magical labor oriented process of brick-making and captures the life weaved into this process. The human touch of the laborers, glimpse of their families who form the integral part of the brick-making environment and the machines create a melancholy of images. The narration moves from dawn to dusk in a brick-making environment, encapsulating every aspect of brick making. In turn the narrative representation symbolizes the brick-making process as a metaphor for life.
