A few weeks ago, I found an offer where they were looking for a composer to write the soundtrack for a short film, and then I decided to sign up for the offer. The director contacted me and told me he wanted to make a preliminary selection since many composers had signed up. Music for documentaries. The music is embedded in the edit and join the narrative and enhances it in many cases. Music to travel and to send sensations and to store memories of the trips and to retrieve them again. The strength of the sea, the big evocative power of the ocean, the slow flight through the mountains and the view of a distant horizon become a restorative balm and a time machine that allows us to travel far away or to recover memories stored in our mind.
