Space Holocaust

Space Holocaust (a.k.a. Dark Matter) got an honorable mention in the FilmMakers New Millennium Celebrations Screenplay Contest and an honor mention in the Red Ink Works script contest.

Kid Cop Academy
GENRES: Family
Norm, a kid-hating, misfit cop is assigned by The Chief (who will do anything to get to get rid of him) to start a Malfoo Explorer’s Post made up of local 14-year old juvenile delinquents and prepare them to be cops and bring home a trophy from the Texas State Competition.
Awards:
Kid Cop Academy was a semifinalist for the Harvardwood Writer's Contest and in the top 25 of 3246 entries in the first ten-page Free Screenplay Contest.
My Experience with Cops:
I've volunteered with the Collin County Sheriff's Explorer Post in Texas for the past three years--usually playing the bad guy for their weekly scenarios--but also, I listened and nodded to teens who needed to talk or paid the 45.00 pizza bill for the Explorer Christmas party.
Explorers are 14-21 year olds who want to experience what Law Enforcement is all about. Not every kid who joins ends up being a cop, but some of the finest cops start out as Explorers. A film about Explorers has never been made to date.
