Joe and 'Chelle live in “austerity” Britain. When they leave school, Joe doesn't make the grades for University, but 'chelle does. Joe and 'chelle meet at a DJ gig and Joe's DJ mate suggests they all meet up to party at the late set. Party time and all are having a good time until 'chelle collapses - bad designer drug from DJ man - all leg it except Joe who stays. Paramedic pronounces bad news and 'chelle is rushed to hospital accompanied by Joe. They become an item and move in together....
