On the eve of a planned high school massacre, a bullied teen handcuffs his best friend in a garage— part confession, part coercion— forcing him to bear witness as he prepares to exact revenge.
SYNOPSIS:
Eighteen-year-old Peter wakes in the night to a call from Max, his brilliant, volatile best friend—and finds himself handcuffed in a garage, forced to listen as Max reveals plans for a deadly high school massacre. What unfolds is part confession, part recruitment, part reckoning, as Peter is made to witness Max’s trauma, including years of bullying, a brother’s tragic death, and a brutal reel of memeified abuse that no one—especially Peter—ever tried to stop. As the night spirals, Peter must decide whether to save his friend, betray him, or stop him— before it's too late. The Hours Before is a razor-edged two-hander about friendship, complicity, and the dark places boys are pushed when no one listens.
