Waverly Hampton III

CEO and Producer for Flixar Studios. I am interested in producing short and feature films, narrative podcasts, and animated projects. My love for storytelling goes all the way back to my childhood from since I picked up my first book. I have fond memories of producing elaborate sets with my action figures and legos, creating serial tales of good versus evil, romance, and tragedy. My first foray into the industry was as a child actor, where I did background work and appeared on Nickelodeon's Brain Surge as a contestant. While acting was fun, I've always wanted to be behind the camera. From writing scripts and short stories and passing them out to my classmates, to creating no-budget shorts with my friends as a teenager, I dabbled in filmmaking throughout my life. I took a slight detour, studying engineering and working as an electrical engineer in the private sector. Eventually fate led me to produce my first short film in 2024. Now, with three shorts under my belt and experience working as background on major studio TV shows, I've decided to take the leap and found my production company, Flixar, to help tell stories from all corners of the globe with the intent to invest in the filmmakers of tomorrow.

Some of my favorite films are Interstellar, Get Out, The Master of Disguise, Wall-E, and Kill Bill (Vol. 1 & 2). Honestly, I love all genres and am open to producing any stories that are unique and appeal to an audience.
