Rebekah Niland

Raised in Central Ohio, Rebekah Niland was born in 1992 on El Toro military base in California. While never a straight-A student in school, it was early in her schooling years that she found a love for creative writing and found inspiration in Shel Silverstein and J.R.R Tolkien. Despite this literary passion, she graduated high school and went to Montana State University to major in wildlife conservation with the goal of opening a wildlife rescue. However, the negative words of her advisors during her time at MSU caused her to drop out and try life without a degree. During these years, she got married, had a child, started an online fantasy RPG community, and moved around the country following her husband’s work. Then, in late 2021, she decided to rekindle that passion for writing and started the Creative Writing Screenwriting program at Southern New Hampshire University. Now, with all things lined up to complete her final class in December of 2025, she hangs onto the ambitious goal of finishing her own new adult fantasy book series under her pen name and seeing said books turned into either video games or TV series.
