This science fiction script is a sequel to the 1921 novel "Wersand's Universal Robot" by author Karel Čapek, who predicted the battle between robots and humanity even in his time. The story takes place in the year 2222 AD. Environmental pollution and a change in the sun have rendered Earth uninhabitable. Humanity has abandoned Earth and now lives on a gigantic orbital ark that can only exist on the night side of the planet. But war is raging on SalemWorld. Driven by their belief in a creator and a coming herald, the Mechans – artificial beings with biomechanical consciousness – are plotting gruesome revenge against humanity. Only one person can prevent the radical end of this bionic civilization: Qumran Maria von Wallenstein, Templar and elite soldier.
