While his father is imprisoned, Ike and his wife and children escape to America. Set four years after the upheaval, Ike and his family bask in the American Dream within the upscale enclave of Woodland Hills. Amid their idyllic existence, a court ruling triggered by Ghana's new ruling party threatens to seize Ike's assets and freeze his bank accounts. To safeguard his immigration status, Ike must cooperate with the US government by divulging sensitive information about his homeland or risk deportation.
