About Vanessa

I am an aspiring actress and screenwriter based in the city of London in the UK. Originally from Switzerland, I came to London in 2020 to pursue my dreams as an actress and screenplay writer, while obtaining my degree. Screenwriting has always been a passion of mine but I´ve just recently started taking concrete steps towards turning this passion into a career. I´ve always had a vivid imagination and love creating intriguing narratives that explore the depths of human experience. I have a bachelors degree in criminology and a Masters degree in organized crime and global security. This background provides me with a nuanced understanding of human behavior and the complexities of crime, which I incorporate into my narratives.
Many of my stories are deeply personal, inspired by my own life and the challenges I’ve faced along the way. I believe in the power of lived experience to shape compelling, emotionally resonant narratives. Drawing from both my academic background and personal journey, I strive to create stories that are raw, honest, and rooted in real emotion—stories that not only entertain but also connect on a human level.
My screenplay "Codename Ladybird" has been a quarter finalist in the Page Turner competition and my screenplay "One word" has been considered for an OWA on Stage32.
