Amanda Laden is a global wine storyteller with dirt on her boots, wine on her passport, and a mission to uncork the world’s most untold bottles. A certified wine educator, former importer, and industry veteran, Amanda has worked in the trenches of the global wine trade—from boutique London wine shops to selling top-tier wines to Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver.

Born in Iowa and raised on meat and potatoes (with a side of milk), Amanda’s palate was awakened during a single wine class in grad school. That moment sparked a wild, wine-soaked journey that took her across the globe—eventually landing her in London where she trained at the prestigious Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). Since then, she’s traveled to over 50 countries, building her reputation as a connector, cultural translator, and irreverent guide to the world’s lesser-known wine regions.

Whether she’s tasting mezcal in Oaxaca, sipping skin-contact in Montenegro, or swapping cellar stories in the backroads of Texas, Amanda brings heart, humor, and a healthy dose of curiosity to every pour. A self-described wine geek, food lover, and cultural explorer, she lives to uncover the soul behind the sip—and tell the stories no one else is telling.
