Formed on September 9th 2001, The VII Photo Agency has created and published some of the most compelling photography of the 21st Century. The collectively owned agency, beginning with seven founding members, has since grown in size and importance, and documents both global conflict and the ever-evolving social and cultural developments happening worldwide. In 2011, Canon commissioned Blue Barn Pictures to produce a 10-part series of interviews with the VII photojournalists. Each interview reveals the life of the photojournalist and examines their work within violent and non-violent events, and the equipment they use to do so. A founding member of the VII Agency, Christopher Morris has worked as a photographer since the early 1980s. Initially known for his conflict photography, Morris moved into political photography, being assigned to the White House in the early 2000s. Recently, Morris has assumed his role as a fashion photographer, working with designers such as Roberto Cavalli and Louis Vuitton. Throughout his career, Morris has won a multitude of awards, including the Infinity Photojournalist award from the International Center of Photography, New York.
