Canon EVERCAM

Dentsu America, one of Canon Inc.’s international ad agencies, commissioned Blue Barn to create an industrial rebranding video for Canon’s XU series of Pan Tilt Zoom cameras. Working closely with Dentsu, Blue Barn proposed an upbeat graphical style to highlight the camera’s HD quality, versatility, and rugged build. This approach would help to distinguish Canon from previous efforts by others in the security camera industry. Blue Barn cast, scripted and shot the 3-minute green screen piece. A separate studio day was then devoted to beauty shots of the PTZ cameras. Dentsu created the new rebranding logo, Evercam. Blue Barn produced this 3-minute video, along with a 30-second version, that rebrands Canon’s PTZ cameras for both outdoor and indoor installations. Placement includes Canon U.S.A.’s site, tradeshow displays, as well as for sales purposes.
