As a lifelong Kevin Smith fan, I just about jumped out of my seat reading this news — according to Deadline, a Dogma sequel is officially in the works and was quietly being pitched during Cannes this year! Dogma is one of my favorite movies of all time; smart, irreverent, packed with heart, and a stellar cast that leaps off the screen even 25 years later. When I found out Kevin had arrived in Cannes and was screening the film there only 48 hours after I left, I won’t lie, I was heartbroken. But the silver lining? I’m seeing the 25th Anniversary theatrical screening tonight, and I couldn’t be more excited.
What other 90s/2000s scripts do you think deserve a sequel?

I think Small Soldiers deserves a sequel, Ashley Renee Smith. The sequel could have a bigger story, more action, new characters (humans and action figures), and new locations.

Probably inevitable. I do think the original Dogma is an underrated movie. I know a lot of millennials have a soft spot for it from it being part of the Comedy Central movie rotation

Ashley Renee, I wouldn't mind a sequel to...1994's "Little Giants." [How would it look for Ed O'Neal's and Rick Moranis' grandkids (and Shawna Waldron's kids) to play Pop Warner League football?]
