Merry Christmas to all. As I try to not look at the weather report for Los Angeles (my home), as I'm out of state visiting family (and playing way too much Skyrim), I wanted to pop in and re-introduce myself. When I'm not out, inadvertently, hiking in mountain lion country, I can be found writing spec fiction. I write screenplays and novels. My novels are geared towards the YA audience, though I did start a random adult scifi novel on my phone while attending at a rather boring, stale, please let me be anywhere else but here, party. My latest horror short script was a finalist. That was my goal for 2025: to break the semifinalist slump and make it to the finals. 2026: the goal is to be a winner and get my feature script optioned, produced, agented, etc. As well as publish my third novel.

May that dream come to you in 2026 Desiree Middleton. YA is in need of grand novels if the library shelves reflect all there is for YA to read and model their present and future dreams on. Many dyslexic children tutored at the library should have books for them as well as a keyboard and translation app so they can keep up with their school mates. Have a beautiful holiday season Desiree.

Hi Jay A Swendris, I sent in an inquiry this fall to Bill & Melinda Gates around creating key boards and apps for dyslexic people to be able to read and write with a translation option like social media platform function. I believe it would change lives if there were books made for dyslexic people to read as well without the stress of translating stories. especially for young children in schools, Jay you and yours have a beautiful holiday
