EMIGRANT TO IMMIGRANT

Seeking producers, directors, financiers and 2 more in Mumbai, India and Toronto, Canada

I’m seeking a Producer and Director for EMIGRANT TO IMMIGRANT — a premium Indian drama series with a powerful emotional and spiritual core. This is a fully developed, creator-led series conceived as a multigenerational epic exploring migration, memory, family, and identity. Blending intimate realism with a subtle futuristic frame, the series moves between Mumbai’s Dharavi slum, Canada, and a speculative future, telling the life story of a man shaped by poverty, loss, love, and resilience. Series Format: 12 episodes × 55 minutes Genres: Drama / Family Saga / Immigrant Story / Multigenerational Epic Tagline: “The past is never lost—it lives on in the stories we dare to tell.” Series Logline In the future, an old man’s memoirs pull him back to his childhood in Mumbai’s Dharavi slum, where poverty, betrayal, and buried secrets forged the survivor he became. Pilot Logline Inspired by true events, an elderly Indian man reflects on his journey from poverty to a new life in Canada—and back home—where love and purpose shape his rise as a celebrated screenwriter. Series Overview Set in 2065, a massive, silent spaceship hovers above a futuristic Asian metropolis. Inside a traditional home surrounded by towering skyscrapers, Kavian (90) sits in meditation. As his thoughts deepen, the story travels back to 2020, when he begins documenting his life and reconnects with his aging father to uncover forgotten truths—starting with a near-death experience in infancy that quietly shaped his destiny.  What unfolds is a deeply emotional journey across decades and continents—moving from Dharavi to Canada, from survival to self-realization, and from memory to meaning. What I’m Looking For Producer Experience in premium drama, series development, or international co-productions Strong packaging, financing, and market sensibility Passion for diaspora, family, and character-driven stories Director Strong emotional intelligence and visual restraint Ability to balance intimacy with scale and time shifts Interest in grounded, human storytelling with cinematic ambition I am looking for collaborators who want to shape, elevate, and package this series for studios, streamers, and international platforms. What’s Ready Pilot episode: Welcome to This WorldSynopsis and pitch deck Series concept, long-term vision, and story materials Clear tonal direction and character arcs designed for premium television If you are interested in a mature, emotionally resonant series about migration, family, and legacy—with Indian roots and global appeal—I would love to connect. All positions will be paid once a producer is secured and funding is in place. Serious collaborators only. Thank you for your understanding.

Production Advisor

Seeking producers in Vancouver, Canada, New York City, New York, Los Angeles, California and 2 more

THE OPPORTUNITY This is not a typical advisory role. We are entering the Future Vision XPRIZE — a $3.5M global film competition presented by Peter Diamandis, Google, and Range Media Partners. The brief: create a 3-minute cinematic trailer and 12-page treatment that shows humanity a hopeful, technology-forward vision of the future. If selected as a Top 10 Finalist, Google and Range come in as producing partners on the feature film. We have a world. A story with genuine philosophical depth. A strong team already in place. What we need is an experienced eye — someone who has been through the production process, knows what judges and industry insiders respond to, and can help us put our best work forward. THE PROJECT Enlightened Earth is a philosophical sci-fi film built around a powerful premise: in the world we always hoped for, an elder recalls the moment it almost wasn't — and the single act of courage that tipped the timeline. It's a story about whole-systems intelligence, non-dual resolution, and the future humanity is capable of choosing. Think Avatar's reverence for nature. The Matrix's philosophical ambition. Interstellar's emotional devastation. But with a fundamentally different worldview — one that refuses the dualism of good versus evil, and insists on the more radical truth: that separation is a wound, and wounds can be healed. THE TEAM A strong team is assembled and moving fast: AI Cinematic Director: Contracted by Google's VEO team, working at the frontier of AI-assisted cinematic production Lead Writer: A professional screenwriter with 60+ feature screenplays written and 9 produced credits Writing Partner: An experienced collaborator with produced credits alongside the lead writer Executive Producer: Matthew Diteljan — post-exit founder with a background in scaling media companies, with capital committed and the clock running THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced film or television producer to serve as a Production Advisor on a light-touch consulting basis — approximately one hour per week from now through the August 15 submission deadline. Specifically, we're looking for someone who can: •  Provide guidance on what makes a competition-winning cinematic submission •  Advise on production pipeline, storytelling structure, and submission strategy •  Offer an experienced outside perspective on the treatment and trailer as they develop •  Share connections to talent, crew, or industry relationships where relevant •  Help navigate the XPRIZE competition process and what judges actually respond to WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR You have real producing credits — feature film, television, or independent — and you understand what it takes to take a vision from page to screen. Ideally you have experience with competition-format submissions, short-form cinematic work, or AI-assisted production. You get what this story is trying to do, and you're energized by the mission of it. This is a lean engagement with meaningful upside. We are not looking for a passive name on a list. We want someone who is genuinely curious, gives real feedback, and wants to be part of something from the beginning. This is a remote role. All meetings will be via Zoom or phone call.  COMPENSATION Flat fee: $3,000 CAD for the full engagement (approximately 1 hour/week through August 15, 2026) Performance bonus: $3,000 USD if the project is awarded a Top 5 finish in the XPRIZE competition Credit: Advisor credit on the XPRIZE submission and all subsequent development This is not a high-budget commission. It is a low-budget bet on something that could become significant. We are looking for an advisor who understands the difference. If this resonates, please reach out with a brief note on your background, what draws you to this project, and one sentence on what you think the most important story humanity needs to hear right now is. That last one matters most.

Seeking a credited collaborator / co-writer f

Seeking authors in Blackburn, United Kingdom

Hello everyone, I am reaching out because I have reached the point where I know I do not need a ghostwriter, and I do not simply need a standard editor sending notes back on a document. I have completed a full draft novel called BUDDS. It is a grounded working-class story set in Blackburn, built around friendship, loyalty, pressure, and what happens when the thing holding a group together begins to fall apart. At the heart of it sits a central question: how far would you go to keep lifelong friendships alive? BUDDS also serves a second purpose. It acts as a gateway book into a much larger long-term project called TERRA. I would explain that side in more detail with any serious prospective collaborator. Alongside BUDDS sits TERRA, the wider vision behind it. At present, I have four completed draft novels in that world, another two mapped out on a matrix-style storyboard, and a further five planned. The worldbuilding behind it has been developing for around forty years, with the active drafting taking place over the last five. In total, there are currently roughly five draft books and around 700,000 words of material, with more still to come. What I am looking for is a true collaborator / co-writer. Someone confident enough to challenge the material, question structure, push back where needed, and help reshape the work while staying true to its core. I already have the characters, the world, the drafts, and the wider vision. What I need is someone who can help bring the strongest version of it to the surface. This is not a ghostwriting role. It is a genuine creative partnership. I would be open to: dual acknowledgement on the cover  a 60/40 split  final creative say remaining with me  So I am looking for someone serious, honest, and comfortable working as part of a real collaboration. A strong working knowledge of Frank Herbert’s themes, worldbuilding, and deeper philosophy is essential. Not as a direct source to work from, but to help ensure the wider project develops with depth, internal logic, and a natural progression while avoiding obvious IP issues. Familiarity with the non-canon Dune Encyclopedia timeline would be a major advantage, as TERRA grows from the expansion of a specific historical gap within that framework. To be clear, this is not a Dune IP project or adaptation. However, that background knowledge is important in order to properly understand the deeper architecture behind it. BUDDS would be the starting point and the acid test.TERRA is the wider long-term vision. I would especially like to hear from people who are: strong on structure, character, and development  not afraid to challenge material  interested in building something properly rather than just passing through it  open to a credited creative partnership  If this sounds like you, I would be interested in talking. Please also understand that this is a lifelong passion project, and I will be carrying out the necessary checks. A proven writing background is important. Thank you.
