In 1968, a new loner 18-year-old young man named BILLY BRAVO falls for a young local Latina named ROXIE and starts a path of jealousy, loss, and pain when the entitled TRENT CROSS, son of the most powerful man in town, discovers this love affair. In a fit of jealous rage Trent and his crew corner Billy in the dark and brutally beat him until his body is limp. They then proceed to put his unconscious body in the driver’s seat of Billy’s old ’57 Chevy, cover him in booze, and set the car ablaze running it off the road into an explosion into a tree. When the wreckage is discovered, it is determined that Billy got drunk and ran his car into a tree. Trent and his crew were never charged; however, Roxie knew in her heart as she clenched Billy’s leather jacket he gave to her that Trent stole him from her.

With a broken heart and no justice to be found Roxie turns to an old Santeria for guidance. The Santeria gives her instruction that leads to Roxie building an altar surrounding the jacket and tapping into black magic sources that attach Billy’s spirit to the jacket.

Fast forward 21 years. The year is 1989 and Roxie is now an ER nurse with a chip on her shoulder. She has a daughter BECKY who is college. Roxie has raised her as a single mom and has done her best to provide for Becky.

Trent Cross has recently inherited his father’s fortune and power but has added illegal activities such as deals with Colombian Drug Lords. He has an ultimate plan to build a Mall that will be used as a front but is being sold as a community wealth resource. He is being protested by the primarily Latin community since his plans would require destroying a major part of their community. His motivation is fueled by power and entitlement. This is supported by any means necessary including violence.

Becky has always been the popular girl and her best friend is TOMMY. They grew up together and Tommy has always been on the nerd side of things even though never shunned by Becky he was never accepted in her crowd. Believing he never had a shot he never pursued Becky in a romantic sense, but his heart nearly bursts when she is near. So, when she approaches him with a Halloween costume idea and an invite to accompany her to THRILLER BASH, a Halloween Festival put on by Trent Cross, he could not refuse. Becky’s idea for a costume is a 1950’s Rock-A-Billy couple.

Every night Roxie prays over Billy’s leather jacket and reminisces over the love they shared. She then hides away her altar in her closet.

Becky invades her closet looking for retro clothing for the costume and discovers Billy’s jacket. She gets very excited and rushes to show Tommy.

Tommy examines the jacket and admires the shark mouth design on the back of the leather biker style jacket. He puts it on and examines himself in the mirror. Suddenly, he hears Billy’s voice in his head and an image of Billy surrounded by flames appears in the mirror. In a fit of fear Tommy throws off the jacket and that night as he sleeps, he relives the torturous death of Billy.

As the days go by Tommy becomes haunted by Billy in his head, but it not only frightens him but gives him the confidence and strength to be better than his push over nerd self. It even gives him the confidence to express his feelings towards Becky with a powerful kiss.

The night of Thriller Bash has arrived. Trent has been dealing with community leaders and threats from Colombians, but he must put on a show for the community as the king his father wanted. His royal costume illustrates that for the masses.

Roxie discovers that Billy’s jacket is missing and realizes it is with Becky and Tommy. She becomes very concerned especially when she hears Billy’s voice telling her the time has come. She rushes to rescue Becky.

At Thriller Bash, Becky and Tommy enter the Halloween festivities dressed in costume and as they pass characters like Trent Cross and his crew individually Billy takes over Tommy and in individual acts of haunting, visceral violence. Each member of Trent’s crew is stalked and brutally reminded of past sins and meet their inevitable fate.

As each scene of bloody aftermath is discovered, Trent becomes increasingly paranoid believing that he is being targeted by Colombians.

When Roxie makes it to Thriller Bash the chaos has ensued. Becky is running from Tommy thinking he has gone psycho. Roxie tries to explain what is happening and gets caught by Trent who is still obsessed.

All leads to an intense bought of fire, blood, and rage. Trent is faced with the nightmare that Billy has become and is drug to the raging fires of the hellmouth.

In the end, Roxie sees Billy as he was, Tommy is released from his possession, and Becky meets her father.
