I am the owner of a book editing company, Platinum Editing Group. I am a professional freelance book editor and writer based in Denver, Colorado. I have been been writing and editing for more than 35 years. I have 14 years of experience drafting, proofreading, and editing documents for Colorado District Courts, the Colorado Court of Appeals, and the Colorado Supreme Court.

I specialize in assisting authors with creating manuscripts that they may be confident in sending to agents or publishers or proud to self-publish. I also assist writers in the development of their manuscripts or screenplays, taking them from a concept to a completed project. My passion is in helping authors achieve their dreams of publication or see their screenplay come to life on the big screen. I work with writers of both fiction and non-fiction and have clients in Denver, around the country, and internationally.

I also am a sports nut and love to assist athletes, coaches, or others in the sports industry who have a fabulous story to tell, whether in a book or in a film.

I consult with authors regarding all aspects of the publishing business. I have created the curriculum for a class about how to write, publish, and market a book. I teach book-writing classes and other writing workshops in the Denver area. I am available to teach book-writing classes or writing workshops anywhere.
