About Ben

My first feature film was an absolutely wild experience. But the main thing I took away was that I could be on set, directing movies, every single day of my life. At home I'm writing, specializing in comedy but I do have some horror and drama under my belt. I've written an adult animated TV series and five features, along with an additional two feature treatments. Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to film another feature yet, but I have directed a shorts, countless music videos and endless behind the scenes/mini-docs. I am currently producing a "found footage" horror film with the goal to shoot in October of this year.

Ultimately I love stories. Writing, directing, editing- TELLING stories. There's nothing better. It's why one of my favorite joys in life is watching a movie (The Big Lebowski?) or a show (Game of Thrones?) with my girl on the couch. We're welcoming a baby girl into our home this summer and I cannot wait to share these traditions with her, albeit I'll wait til she's a little older for Thrones.
