A Prisoner's Path (2021)
Documentary by Skinfly Entertainment Director of Photography Director of Photography, Editor, and Associate Producer on new documentary series “A Prisoner’s Path” • Ran A-Cam (RED KOMODO) on production throughout multiple shooting locations (Chicago, Louisiana, Boston) capturing interview footage, prison/cell footage (capturing prisoners’ lives, city b-roll, and high-energy “action”- type shots for VFX visuals). • Recorded, edited, and mixed sound on all sets (one-man-band type shooting). Set up and monitored lavaliere microphones, boom/overhead shotgun microphones, and handheld recorders for dialogue capturing. • Shot and logged footage daily on set, built/broke down equipment, provided video assistance in all areas. • Edited official first sizzle/teaser reel used to shop show for funding, as well as single-handedly edited pilot and second episode, completing all audio/visual duties for show pitch (including rough cuts, color cuts, all sound editing/mastering, VFX editing, and media management/consolidating). • Wrote and recorded all music in production, created graphic design posters, promos; individually created, edited, and updated official website, and various other assets used for marketing, etc. • Show is currently being shown/shopped around to major streaming networks including HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Epic, and Vice by Executive Producer, Lyle Howry, of Skinfly Entertainment, based in Los Angeles, CA.
