My partner/husband and I have five finished/polished screenplays; others that need a re-write &/or are written with 3rd-party writers. We also have over 20 viable treatments as well as a couple sit-com bibles. The screenplays we have written include: Three Westerns, a spiritual comedy, a romantic comedy, an action movie, a thriller, a drama, etc.

In 2003, we produced "Double Cross," a 30-minute SAG short film. I was the executive producer, the line producer and casting director of the movie. My partner and I co-produced the movie with our former writing partner, Peter Myers (RIP). There are a couple of things we would've done differently with the "Double Cross" script, but the learning experience was invaluable, and we feel confident producing our own films when the time comes.

We have been paid to write screenplays, been paid option fees & ghost written, etc. We have helped other writers, & been helped by other writers. There are other measurements of progress, but that's enough for now.

As producers, our goal is to sell and/or produce screenplays that provide a cathartic experience for the audience. We believe our stories are unique and have "Heart."




Side note:
Every day we improve as writers, including from life experiences. Those who have not been on the up & up, it's okay -- that was a learning experience too. We will be all the wiser as we move forward.
