When a teenage girl begins dreaming of lives she never lived, she must journey through nine past lives to uncover her soul's truth before the waking world forgets her completely.
SYNOPSIS:
It begins with a scream. Not Mira’s, but a woman burning at the stake in 1492.
Mira jolts awake, sweat-soaked, the stench of smoke still in her nose. She is seventeen, living in San Francisco and in her dream last night, she was executed for sorcery.
Each night since her 17th birthday, her dreams have become more violent and more vivid, with each one a complete life ending in death. In each dream, she is someone else. A warrior. A poet. A spy. A slave. A child. Nine in total. All trying to tell her something.
At first, Mira thinks she is losing her mind. But then she meets Elías, a strange boy who remembers his own deaths too. And suddenly, a purpose to resolve is born. In Elias words, this is Mira's: Nine doors to Truth.
The only way out? Go through. But with each dream, Mira wakes up a little less herself and a little more like her past incarnations. And in each dream, a mysterious entity named Sael follows her, witnessing her journey and adamant to not let her succeed.
The final door holds the truth.
But what if it kills her first?

In your synopsis' first paragraph, 1942 and San Francisco they are not related, right? The rest looks dope

No. It is not related Leonidas Stanescu. Mira lives in modern-day San Francisco and she sees herself getting burnt for sorcery in her dream, which dates back to 1492.
I have made the first paragraph a little more clear that the story begins with Mira's dream.
