About Michael
Michael's first feature film as writer/director, "Gumshoe!", was released in June 2018. A spoof comedy film noir set in New Orleans, it is distributed by Summer Hill Films on DVD and Amazon Prime in the USA and UK, and has been distributed across Europe and Asia. It was subsequently further released on Tubi, Vudu and XFinity, among others.
Michael has completed four further screenplays to date: an action comedy called "Tunnel Vision"; a spy spoof entitled "Codename: Danger"; a thriller called "The Lorelei Agenda"; and another action comedy entitled "South of the Border".
Michael qualifies as a UK writer, which means his screenplays qualify for the new 40% UK Independent Film Tax Credit, which comes into effect from April 1, 2024.
On the awards front, Michael's career got off to a flying start when his first short film, "The Busker and the Monk" won the Best Drama award at the National Awards for Student Television Associations.
