I have heard it's important to have hobbies outside of writing! People want to see what type of person you are as well. Are you out and about, socializing, staying in shape, something else? My hobby is martial arts. I have seven years of Muay Thai, two boxing, and two BJJ. I plan to open a pop up cardio martial arts side business in the next few years on top of my writing! Business plan shows $35,000-$100,000 investment needed, so will take some time, but it's been fun to play with! If an executive asked what you do outside of writing, what is your answer? What are you hobbies?
