David Nelson

I am originally from the Bay Area, Berkeley. I currently reside in Conyers Georgia which is 25 miles out from Atlanta. My passion for writing screenplays grew out writing books. I have written about 15-20 full length features. My dream, and what I'm hoping to achieve from this community is to write for NOLLYWOOD. During the pandemic we were all glued to our TV's and in the process I began watching African movies on Netflix. Then I journeyed over to You Tube and continued watching them on that network. I was captivated by their movies. Now the mechanics weren't the best from time to time, but the movie plots were very good. I soon developed this urge to want to write for their productions.
I've written two scripts in hopes that I can be introduce to a producer from Nigeria that will read the scripts and be interested in producing the movies. They are both written for African production and the plots both take place in Lagos, Nigeria. i am also looking for funding to produce the movie's or at least one.
So, my community fam, here at STAGE 32 i This is what it is. It's Nollywood for me.
