I've been and continue to be a freelance illustrator and for over 20 years. I have worked within the entertainment industry for years with a variety of design studios has given me the experience of working as part of a team has built important client relation skills. My involvement can be seen throughout the design of product, packaging, branding and illustration of products from Blueray and DVD cover art on campaigns for films like The Princess Bride, Planet of the Apes, and theSound of Music, to name just a few. As a marketing key art designer and sketch artist I have worked on notable television shows such as Game of Thrones, Falling Skies, and The Librarians.
I've worked as a digital painter and colorist for comics and illustrated novels with a focus on fantasy and science fiction artwork for clients such as Dark Horse Comics, IDW Comics, Darby Pop Publishing ( with Jeff Kline), Penguin Publishing, Lucasfilm, and Wizards of the Coast. Most recently, my work has lent a hand in branding and package design for companies such as Hasbro and Schylling Toys and freelancing on children’s publishing and book and magazine covers.
I graduated from the Art Institute of Boston in 2001 earning himself a BFA in illustration and then in 2009, a Master of Fine Arts degree in illustration from CalState, Fullerton, CA. I worked as an adjunct professor at California State University, Fullerton and at the Lesley University College of Art and Design, Boston and the New Hampshire Institute of Art, Manchester, NH and am currently a full-time illustration professor at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design).
