About CJ
I'm an American visual artist and writer who lives and works in Australia. I also built an eco retreat in the amazon jungle, and managed to raise two sons to adulthood. Because none of these events resulted in my death, I was emboldened to take on screenwriting. A born multitasker, I'm interested in long format serial storytelling imbued with humour, courage and emotional complexity. I think there are interesting stories everywhere and new ways to tell them. My series entitled True Nature completed development with Opengate Entertainment and is now in distribution with RealPath Media.
