Alec is an NYC-based composer and sound designer for film, television, concert, and interactive projects. He has written for strings, voices, pianos, computers, accordions, and a handful of exotic instruments he still doesn't understand. He began recording film music while pursuing his M.M. degree in Composition and Film Scoring at NYU. He has created, taught, performed, and recorded more than 50 vocal arrangements, ranging in scope from barbershop quartet to collegiate a cappella to 200+ singer choral army. He's enjoyed opportunities to work with independent directors and producers on projects ranging from silent Buster Keaton reboots to feature documentaries on Croatian politics.
