About Jeffrey

I am a screenwriter, actor and Nashville songwriter.

As a screenwriter, I have over 20 features under my belt (several in development), numerous shorts, a Faith-based Thriller pilot, and a Crime Drama pilot. My last eight scripts have all received RECOMMENDS. One received a DOUBLE RECOMMEND. I have placed in multiple screenplay contests and won two. I love writing and staying busy with developing new projects.I am currently seeking a literary manager.

I moved to Nashville in 1985 to hone my skills as a songwriter. I have over 600 songs in my catalog with cuts by country greats Charlie Pride, Joe Diffie and others, as well as songs in movies and commercials.

I’m also a SAG actor and have done hundreds of commercials, industrial films and music videos. I’ve appeared in a number of films including, “Ernest Goes to Jail”, and starred alongside Robert Carradine in the thriller, “Lycanthrope”. I also worked with Kathy Bates and Alfree Woodard in Tyler Perry’s, “The Family that Preys”.

I am past President of the Tennessee Screenwriting Association and on the boards of The Nashville Publishers Network and Film-Com Nashville.
