V.C. Lennox

Writer and script editor focused on drama and comedy-drama, telling stories featuring complex characters and situations, particularly those faced by women and children. Scripts for four produced shorts have been accepted into festivals worldwide including Poppy Jasper, Crystal Palace International Film Festival, McMinniville Short Film, This Is England and Carmarthen Bay Film Festival. Accolades include longlisting for British Short Film Awards; Best Emerging Filmmaker award at Cambria Film Festival; Runner-Up Best UK Film at Dirigo International Film Festival; winner of ISFVF Special Jury Prize and Outstanding Award; winner Best International Short at Chongqing Youth Film Festival; and Runner Up, UK Short Fiction category at Barnes Film Festival. MA (Distinction) in Script Writing from Goldsmiths University and BA in Theatre from Warwick University. Worked in script reading and development in London and Los Angeles, and as a literary agent and creative writing lecturer at Goldsmiths University.
