Samantha Baptiste

Samantha is an actress, writer, producer and director. She began her career as an Actress with stage & film credits. She is the Head Writer and Director of the short film, “Split|Filter” and is actively working on the upcoming feature film. Samantha made her directorial debut at NY Summerfest 2019, which garnered her the nomination of ‘Best Director’, and is proud to have continued directing multiple projects in the realm of theatre, film, webseries, and music videos. Samantha credits her inspirations to the phenomenal women such as Ava DuVernay, Viola Davis & Issa Rae, and hopes to empower black women in the film industry through her work.
