After his wife divorces him and takes their only daughter, Robert is left feeling as though he has nothing left. Drunk one night he staggers to his balcony, and prepares to end his suffering. As he does this the memory of a promise he made to his young daughter enters his mind.

Bruce is a rage-aholic control freak; Tommy is casual and off the cuff wisecracker. They're total opposites, and blend perfectly. These two quirky buddies are average in all regards except for the fact that they're hitmen. Hired by their deranged boss Jerry, Bruce and Tommy must bumble their way through a tough assignment that needs to be done by the end of the night.
